Pumas UNAM was eliminated from the competition after the defeat. Pumas coach, Efraín Juárez, criticized the Leagues Cup format. Inter Miami won the inaugural edition of the Leagues Cup in 2023, but was eliminated in the round of 16 against Columbus Crew in 2024.I am more grateful for De Paul’s willingness and energy than for his performance.
