Kylian Mbappé demonstrated his lethality in front of the goal by scoring two goals in Real Madrid’s 4-0 victory over WSG Tirol. The friendly match, held in Innsbruck, Austria, marked the beginning of the white team’s pre-season ahead of the 2025-26 campaign. The Real Madrid quickly took the lead on the scoreboard at the Tivoli Stadion Tirol. Éder Militão opened the scoring with a header in the tenth minute, followed by Mbappé’s first goal three minutes later. Mbappé extended the lead to 3-0 in the 59th minute, following an assist from Aurélien Tchouaméni. Subsequently, coach Xabi Alonso made seven changes to his team.

However, the French striker recovered and assisted Rodrygo for Madrid’s fourth goal with a precise pass. Madrid returned to training on August 4, after participating in the FIFA Club World Cup in the United States. This match in Innsbruck is the team’s only official friendly in a two-week preseason, before their LaLiga debut against Osasuna on August 19.
