Manchester United have initiated exploratory talks with the representatives of Eintracht Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitike in their search for offensive reinforcements.
The English team, which couldn’t sign Liam Delap, who joined Chelsea, and given Viktor Gyökeres’ possible preference for Arsenal, has set its sights on the French striker.
Ekitike, who scored 15 goals in the Bundesliga last season, is also being followed by Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal.
According to sources close to the club, United has gathered information about the player for a possible offer, and Frankfurt is aware of their interest.
Furthermore, Manchester United is still in negotiations with Brentford for Bryan Mbeumo, Cameroonian international.
