Kulusevski Out with Injury and Misses the End of the Europa League
Tottenham coach Ange Postecoglou has confirmed news that hits the team hard: Dejan Kulusevski will be out for “a few months”.
The injury, which forced the player to leave the field during the Premier League match against Crystal Palace, required surgery on his right knee.
Kulusevski’s absence is a hard blow for Tottenham, as the player was a key piece in the team’s scheme.
Postecoglou expressed his disappointment in a press conference on Thursday.
It’s obviously disappointing news. Initially we thought it wasn’t too bad because the medical team was concerned about the structure of the knee, but it looked pretty good.

The coach added that the situation worsened after the match, which led to surgery. “He has been operated on and will be out for at least a few months,” said Postecoglou.
When asked about the possibility of Kulusevski being recovered for the start of next season in August, Postecoglou replied: “We’ll see. I only have basic information about the recovery, but he will certainly be out for a while.”
