Kasper Hjulmand Takes the Helm at Bayer Leverkusen
Bayer Leverkusen has announced the appointment of Kasper Hjulmand as their new head coach, following the dismissal of Erik Ten Hag. The news was confirmed this Monday by the Bundesliga club. Ten Hag was dismissed after only two matchdays played in the league. Hjulmand arrives to take his place, signing a contract that binds him to the club until the year 2027. Hjulmand has experience as the national team coach of Denmark, in addition to his time in the Bundesliga with Mainz 05 in the 2014-15 season, where he succeeded Thomas Tuchel.We are delighted to have brought in Kasper Hjulmand, whose work we have followed closely for a long time.
