Estêvão debuts with a great goal: Chelsea defeats Leverkusen in preseason

The young Brazilian talent, Estêvão, has shown his worth in his debut with Chelsea, scoring a goal in the first 18 minutes of the friendly match against Bayer Leverkusen at Stamford Bridge, with a 2-0 victory. Estêvão, with his characteristic play, took advantage of a rebound after a shot by Cole Palmer that hit the crossbar, precisely defining with his left foot. This goal marks a promising start for the 18-year-old player in his new stage with the club. The midfielder, who signed with Chelsea in July 2024 from Palmeiras, joined the team after concluding his season in Brazil. The initial agreement was for 34 million euros, with the possibility of rising to 67 million euros depending on variables.

Chelsea has one more pre-season match against AC Milan on Sunday, before starting their Premier League campaign at home against Crystal Palace a week later.
