Cristiano Ronaldo Júnior, son of Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, debuted with the Portugal U-15 national team this Tuesday. The young footballer participated in the 4-1 victory over Japan.

The match, corresponding to the Vlatko Markovic international tournament in Croatia, saw Ronaldo Júnior enter the field in the 54th minute, with Portugal already leading 3-0 thanks to a hat-trick by Rafael Cabral.

Cristiano Ronaldo himself expressed his pride on social media after his son’s debut.

Ronaldo Júnior, 14 years old, plays as a forward in the Al Nassr academy.

This was the first of four matches that the Portugal U-15 national team will play in the tournament. The next matches will be against Greece on Wednesday and against England on Friday. The tournament will end on Sunday with an opponent yet to be determined.
