The curious event occurred during the second half of the match, generating surprise and amusement among those present. The small animal, after a brief run across the Cardiff City Stadium pitch, was finally removed by Brennan Johnson, with the collaboration of goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.
The rodent disappeared behind a billboard, marking the end of its fleeting appearance in the game.After the rodent’s exit, Belgium won with a score of 4-2, consolidating its position in Group J. Joe Rodon put Wales ahead, but goals from Kevin De Bruyne and Thomas Meunier turned the score around.
