Chelsea Registers 33 Youth Players for the Champions League
Chelsea has registered 33 players from its youth academy for the Champions League group stage, where they will face Ajax next Wednesday.
The list of players includes Isago Silva, son of the former captain of Chelsea and the Brazilian national team, Thiago Silva, as well as several young people aged between 16 and 19 years old.
Sources close to the club claim that this decision is purely administrative, with the aim of registering all players at once, instead of doing it match by match or case by case.
These players have been added to the B list, which allows them to be called up for any of the remaining group stage matches of Chelsea.
