Chelsea Registers 33 Youth Players for the Champions League

Chelsea has registered 33 players from its youth academy for the Champions League group stage, where they will face Ajax next Wednesday. This list includes Isago Silva, son of former Chelsea captain and Brazilian national team player Thiago Silva, as well as several young talents between 16 and 19 years old. Sources close to the club claim that this decision is purely administrative, with the aim of having all the players registered at once, instead of doing it match by match or case by case. The players have been added to List B, which has no registration limit. This means they can be called up for any of Chelsea’s remaining group stage matches.
