Chelsea Registers 33 Youth Players for the Champions League
Chelsea has registered 33 players from its academy for the Champions League group stage, where it will face Ajax next Wednesday.
This list includes Isago Silva, son of former Chelsea and Brazilian national team captain Thiago Silva, and is made up of young talents between 16 and 19 years old.
Club sources indicate that this decision is purely administrative, with the aim of registering all players at once, instead of doing it match by match or case by case.
These players have been added to the B list, which allows them to be called up for any of the remaining group stage matches of Chelsea.
