Bus accident: Welsh players and coaching staff unharmed in Switzerland
The Wales team bus was involved in an accident on Tuesday. The Wales team, including players and staff, are in good condition after their bus was involved in an accident in St. Gallen, Switzerland, on Tuesday, according to coach Rhian Wilkinson. The incident occurred as the bus was heading to the Kybunpark stadium, where the team was preparing for their second Euro 2025 match against France. The Football Association of Wales (FAW) issued a statement assuring that “all passengers on the Cymru national team bus and the other vehicle are unharmed.” Wilkinson, who was traveling in another vehicle with Captain Angharad James, said at a press conference that she felt “shocked” to learn of the accident.

I believe everyone, according to reports, is okay and we just need to get everyone together and get everyone off the scene to reassess.

The coach also added that the staff and UEFA have been “brilliant” in helping the team move away from the place. In addition, she confirmed that Tuesday’s training session was canceled. The match against France is crucial, as a defeat could mean elimination from the tournament for Wales.
