Oscar Bobb: Determined to Succeed with Manchester City
Young forward Oscar Bobb has expressed his firm intention to remain at Manchester City next season, with the aim of putting behind him a year marked by injuries and establishing himself in the team. After a series of promising performances last summer, the 21-year-old player suffered a broken leg during training, which cut short his aspirations and limited his participation to only three matches in the Premier League. Recovered from his injury and currently in the United States with the team for the Club World Cup, the Norwegian international has expressed his desire to stay at the Etihad Stadium and achieve his expected breakthrough.“I hope to be here. I think that’s the way I have to look at it and, you know, try to impress in every opportunity I get and, yeah, be ready”.

“I came back around February and then I suffered an overload that kept me out for a few weeks, but after that, I’ve been fine. Obviously, getting back in shape takes time, but I feel great.” Bobb hasn’t started in the Club World Cup yet, but he played 30 minutes against Wydad AC and Al Ain, while he continues to regain his best form. After scoring in the 6-0 victory over Al Ain, he could play again when City face Juventus in Orlando on Thursday.“It was tough at times, but the club offered great support and I was always thinking about coming back stronger,” he stated.
