Arteta Defines the Necessary Improvements at Arsenal
Mikel Arteta has expressed having a clear vision about the improvements that Arsenal needs for next season, after a season without titles.
Arsenal were eliminated from the Champions League on Wednesday, losing 3-1 on aggregate to Paris Saint-Germain in the semi-final. They also fell out of the Premier League and were knocked out of the Carabao Cup in the semi-finals by Newcastle United, who ended up winning the tournament.
We are very clear about what we need to do to improve. First, what is in our hands to improve and what we can do with the team we have, and then the improvements that the team will need in terms of methodology, technical staff, departments, players and, once again, to be better.

There has been much speculation about the possible arrival of a new forward during the summer transfer window, but Arteta did not want to go into details about the specific areas he will look to reinforce.
Arteta mentioned injuries as an important factor in Arsenal’s fight for trophies this season, and also highlighted the departure of sporting director Edu in November.
