Arsenal Evaluates Options for Emirates Stadium Expansion
Arsenal continues to explore various options to expand and renovate the Emirates Stadium, according to sources close to the club. More than a year ago, the club began discussing possible ways to update the stadium, with next summer marking the 20th anniversary of the first match at the venue.Conversations have continued since then, with a wide range of options considered, from minor improvements to a significant expansion that could add thousands of seats to the current capacity of 60,700.It would be premature to speak in detail about any plan, but internal conversations are beginning to emerge about the stadium. It’s not an easy renovation, but we see the possibilities of what’s there.
