Al Nassr Seeks to Secure Cristiano Ronaldo’s Continuity
Al Nassr is aiming to renew Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract, but faces competition for the signature of the Portuguese superstar, according to the club’s sporting director, Fernando Hierro, this Thursday.
After the end of the Saudi Pro League season on Monday at Al-Fateh, Ronaldo, 40, hinted that it could be his last appearance with Al Nassr.
Hierro added: “We are negotiating with Cristiano Ronaldo to renew his contract. God willing, we will find a solution.”“Ronaldo’s contract with Al Nassr expires on June 30th. We will work to renew his contract so he can continue with us, and there are many clubs interested in signing him.

Ronaldo finished as the top scorer of the Saudi Pro League for the second consecutive season, setting a record of 35 goals in his first full season with Al Nassr.
Recent reports suggest that Ronaldo has received an attractive offer from an unspecified Brazilian club, which would give him the possibility of playing in the upcoming Club World Cup.

Despite scoring 99 goals in 105 matches for Al Nassr, Ronaldo has not managed to win major trophies, only the Arab Club Champions Cup in 2023 since his arrival.
This season he scored 25 goals in the league, but Al Nassr finished in a disappointing third place and missed out on a place in next season’s prestigious AFC Champions League.
Ronaldo will join the Portugal national team next week for the upcoming UEFA Nations League finals.
