Rassie Erasmus highlights teamwork after Sacha Feinberg-Mgomezulu’s brilliant performance
Following the Springboks’ resounding victory over Argentina in the Rugby Championship, coach Rassie Erasmus highlighted the importance of teamwork, despite Sacha Feinberg-Mgomezulu’s outstanding performance. The Boks achieved an impressive victory with a score of 67-30 in Durban, where Feinberg-Mgomezulu accumulated 37 points, including three tries, setting a new individual scoring record for South Africa.Erasmus, however, preferred not to focus all the attention on the 23-year-old player, pointing out that, although his performance was exceptional, there were also mistakes throughout the tournament. The coach emphasized that Feinberg-Mgomezulu’s success was the result of a collective effort. He mentioned the contribution of players like Damian de Allende and Damian Willemse, as well as the influence of the coaching staff. The team captain, Siya Kolisi, was more complimentary of Feinberg-Mgomezulu’s performance.Nobody can deny that he was brilliant that day.
