Springboks coach Rassie Erasmus acknowledged Sacha Feinberg-Mgomezulu’s outstanding performance against Argentina in the Rugby Championship, but emphasized the importance of teamwork and the support received by the young player. Nobody can deny that he was brilliant that day.

Erasmus, however, preferred not to attribute all the success to Feinberg-Mgomezulu, highlighting that the 23-year-old player is still developing and has made mistakes throughout the tournament. The coach mentioned that the player has been gradually improving, with the support of teammates like Damian de Allende and Damian Willemse, as well as Manie’s contribution to the game. Erasmus also pointed out that, on the road to this performance, Feinberg-Mgomezulu had difficult moments and mistakes in other matches, emphasizing the need to give players time to develop their skills at the test level. The team captain, Siya Kolisi, praised Feinberg-Mgomezulu’s impressive performance, highlighting his control of the game and his ability to make important decisions.

Sacha was incredible, not only for the way he scored tries, but for the way he controlled the game.
