Noah Caluori anotó cinco tries para Saracens el sábado. The young Saracens player, Noah Caluori, has been called up to train with the English rugby team, ahead of the upcoming autumn international matches.
Caluori, 19, had a standout performance by scoring five tries for Saracens in their recent victory over Sale Sharks. This match marked his first start in the Gallagher PREM.
His impressive performance has earned him a place in the consideration of England, being included as an additional player in a development role in the latest 36-player training group.
Although it remains to be seen whether Caluori will be part of the final team, when Steve Borthwick confirms the complete squad for the four-match test program next Sunday, his meteoric rise is undeniable.
In other news, Tom Willis, Saracens’ number 8, has not been included, as he agreed to join Bordeaux-Begles for next season. This move will make him ineligible to play for England.
There’s also no place for Owen Farrell, who has returned to Saracens after a complicated season at Racing 92. Farrell retired from the English team after the 2023 Rugby World Cup and is now focused on regaining his best form at Saracens.
Borthwick has rewarded Leicester’s Adam Radwan and Bath’s Henry Arundell with call-ups. Both wingers offer impressive speed and hope to have the opportunity to prove their worth this autumn, when England faces Australia, Fiji, New Zealand, and Argentina.
Emeka Ilione, number 8 from Leicester, has also been called up due to injuries to Ben Curry and Tom Curry, as well as the absence of Willis, which opens up an opportunity in the back row. Max Ojomoh from Bath also receives the call, while Seb Atkinson from Gloucester is injured.
