One Week Until the First Test: British and Irish Lions Face an Australia-New Zealand Combined Team

Just seven days before the first test match between the British and Irish Lions and Australia, Saturday’s clash against a combined Australia and New Zealand team is presented as the final test before the main event.

Players from both sides of the Tasman have come together to test the tourists in what promises to be an interesting encounter.

After last week’s victory over the Brumbies, Lions coach Andy Farrell has rested most of the players expected to start against Australia next week.

However, some will have the opportunity to make a last effort. Flanker Jac Morgan will seek to secure his place with the number 7 jersey, while fullback Hugo Keenan can aspire to a place in the starting XV after Blair Kinghorn’s injury.

The AUNZ team has a lot of talent, many of whom are former internationals or would not be out of place in the current lineups of Australia and the All Blacks.

Pay attention to Chiefs fullback Shaun Stevenson, an exceptional talent who has only played one test match for New Zealand and will join Japanese club rugby next year.

Will the powerful winger Marika Koroibete be able to capture Joe Schmidt’s interest with an outstanding performance?

A great show and lots of fun are expected in Adelaide. Follow the live updates so you don’t miss anything!
