The British and Irish Lions added another victory in the Australian capital on Wednesday, defeating the ACT Brumbies with a score of 36-25 in Canberra.

Known for its cold climate and politics, Canberra is also home to Australia’s best Super Rugby team. Although the outcome was never really in doubt, the Lions had a challenging performance at GIO Stadium.

Tries from Ollie Chessum, James Lowe, Marcus Smith, Garry Ringrose and Josh van der Flier secured the victory for the visitors in their penultimate match before the start of the Test series.

The performance was characterized by some handling errors and a disjointed attacking game. On the other hand, the Waratahs offered an energetic display on their field.
