Garry Ringrose Misses Third Test Due to Concussion

The British and Irish Lions center, Garry Ringrose, has been ruled out of the third and final test against Australia this weekend due to 12-day concussion protocols. Ringrose was initially selected to play in the second test last week in Melbourne, which the Lions won to secure the series, but he withdrew after experiencing concussion symptoms in training. The match on Saturday at Stadium Australia was probably his last realistic chance to play a test for the Lions, and assistant coach Andrew Goodman said the 30-year-old was devastated.

Garry Ringrose is still in the 12-day concussion protocol, meaning he will miss this weekend’s third test.“Garry was playing incredible rugby during this tour, and it has been a dream for him for a long time to represent the Lions, and he has managed to do it,” the New Zealander told reporters in Sydney.

But he wanted to be a Lions test player, so it’s been devastating for him. Everyone knows Garry is a great guy and a great team man.
