Maro Itoje has expressed his enthusiasm for Owen Farrell’s possible return to the England team, highlighting the positive impact that the player with 112 international matches has on any team when he is in top form.
Farrell, who took some time away from test rugby to prioritize his mental health after the 2023 World Cup, was in a situation of ineligibility to represent England following his move to Racing 92 in France.
Recently, the 33-year-old player, who was called up to the British & Irish Lions team as a replacement due to injury last week, agreed to join the Saracens in England for next season, which will allow him to play for his country again.
If he wants to play for England, why not? It would be incredible if that’s in his plans and dreams.
