English winger Immanuel Feyi-Waboso is a serious doubt for the rest of the Six Nations due to a hamstring injury sustained during training last week.
Feyi-Waboso, 23, was injured in training on Thursday. Initially, he was included in the team to face Wales, but had to withdraw.
Tom Roebuck took his place and contributed to England’s 48-7 victory on Saturday.
England will face more difficult challenges, with a trip to Edinburgh to face Scotland next Saturday.
England have won one out of four matches at Murrayfield against Scotland, and they will be looking to improve that record, but they will have to do so without Feyi-Waboso, the outstanding winger for the Exeter Chiefs.
“Manny, it seems he will be out for several weeks,” Borthwick said after the match against Wales.

In more positive news, England hopes to have Bath center, Ollie Lawrence, recovered for the Calcutta Cup clash. Ellis Genge was substituted at halftime against Wales, as England are monitoring him due to a knock.“I don’t know how many weeks, but it’s several, which is disappointing. But that is, unfortunately, the nature of elite sport: there are injuries and then you have to adapt.”

“He did a great job to get fit to start and play,” said Borthwick.

“But it went absolutely well. It was a more precautionary change than anything else.”“We thought the right thing was for him to play 40 minutes and then take him off, instead of starting the second half.”
