Robert Thomas Sale with Injury, But Blues Secure Victory

St. Louis Blues forward Robert Thomas left Tuesday night’s game against the Utah Hockey Club with a lower-body injury.

Thomas left early in the third period and did not return to the game.

The Blues coach, Jim Montgomery, indicated that Thomas was pulled out as a precaution and believes he is fine.

Before leaving the game, Thomas had registered two assists. The Blues, who were already dominating the scoreboard 4-1 when Thomas retired, achieved a final victory of 6-1.

This victory secures the Blues the second wild card spot in the Western Conference playoffs.

Since February 22, Thomas leads the NHL with 40 points, thanks to 8 goals and 32 assists. He concluded the regular season with a total of 81 points, including 21 goals and 60 assists.
