The celebration of his teammates was immediate, surrounding him on the track to celebrate this special moment. It was incredible. It was special. We are a very close group here, and he has had an incredible career so far, and it seems like he has a lot left in the tank the way he is playing for us this year, so it was great. Marchand, who previously accumulated 976 points with the Boston Bruins, joined the Panthers in a trade that surprised many. This season, at 37 years old, he has led the Panthers’ offense, showing exceptional performance.

Legend: Brad Marchand of the Panthers celebrates with his teammates after reaching 1,000 career points. It’s unstoppable. I don’t know how he does it. In every game, he has that engine and is going every night. It seems like everything he shoots is incredible. He’s a great player and you can see the energy he brings us every night. He’s a big reason why we are where we are. Selected 71st overall in the 2006 draft, Marchand has proven to be a key player. In fact, he became the third player from that class to reach 1,000 points, joining Claude Giroux and Nicklas Backstrom.

He has been so prolific throughout his career. And it’s good for him to have a home experience. I think it’s very good that he can have the fans appreciating him, celebrating with him. It’s great.

The Panthers are planning a ceremony to celebrate this achievement. Marchand’s influence goes beyond his scoring ability, being a mentor to the young players. Donovan Sebrango, a Panthers defenseman, shared how Marchand invited him to dinner on a recent trip, a gesture that highlights the importance of his leadership and mentorship.

I think that’s where mentorship is so important. Donovan is going to take someone to dinner in 15, 20 years, right? And that’s how you pay it forward. He’ll do something good for a kid because it was done so well for him.
