Dylan Samberg Signs Extension with the Winnipeg Jets
The restricted free agent defenseman, Dylan Samberg, has reached a contract agreement with the Winnipeg Jets, thus avoiding a salary arbitration hearing. The agreement is a three-year extension.
Although the team has not disclosed the financial details, various sources indicate that the contract is worth $17.25 million, which translates to an average annual value of $5.75 million.
Samberg, 26, achieved his best numbers in the previous season, with six goals, 20 points, and an impressive plus/minus of +34 in 60 games. In the playoffs, he added three assists in 13 games.
