Dylan Strome Celebrates Daughter’s Birth with Standout Performance
Washington Capitals center Dylan Strome experienced an emotional night during Thursday’s game against the Montreal Canadiens. During the intermission of the first period, Strome received the news of the birth of his third daughter.Strome, visibly emotional, assisted on three goals in the Capitals’ 8-4 victory. The little girl, named Sutton Kimberley, came into the world at 7:30 p.m., two hours after the start of the game. The player expressed his pride in his wife, Tayler, highlighting the sacrifices she makes while he is away from home.There were a lot of emotions going through my mind.

Strome also mentioned the feeling of helplessness he experienced at not being able to be present at the birth and the need for support for his wife, who was already taking care of their other two daughters. In the game, Strome contributed to his team’s play, winning a face-off to set up Alex Ovechkin’s opening goal and assisting the captain in a 2-on-1 to make the score 6-4.I am very proud of her. It’s hard, and obviously you want to be there for the birth of your children.
