Charlie McAvoy, Bruins Defenseman, Undergoes Surgery for Facial Injuries

Boston Bruins defenseman Charlie McAvoy underwent surgery on Wednesday to repair facial injuries sustained and will be out indefinitely. McAvoy took a shot to the mouth from Noah Dobson on Saturday during the second period of Boston’s 3-2 victory in Montreal.

Okay. He’s recovering at home. We still don’t know how long he’ll be out.
