Bruins’ Charlie McAvoy Undergoes Surgery for Facial Injury

Boston Bruins defenseman Charlie McAvoy underwent surgery on Wednesday to repair facial injuries. The player will be out indefinitely, according to reports. The injury occurred on Saturday when he took a shot to the mouth from Noah Dobson in the second period of the game that the Bruins won 3-2 in Montreal.

Okay. He is recovering at home. We still don’t know how long he will be out.
