Griffin was a third-round pick by the Seahawks in 2017, playing his first four seasons in Seattle and starting 53 games. His only Pro Bowl appearance was in 2019. After the 2020 season, he left as a free agent, signing a three-year, $40 million contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars. In 2023, Jacksonville released him after he only played 19 games in two seasons due to a back injury. Then, he spent time with the Houston Texans and the Carolina Panthers in 2023 before signing a one-year, $4.55 million contract with the Minnesota Vikings last March. Griffin played 572 snaps and participated in all 17 games with Minnesota, including three as a starter. One of his two interceptions secured a victory in December against the Arizona Cardinals. In eight seasons in the NFL, Griffin has played 106 games, recording nine interceptions and 70 passes defended.
