METAIRIE, LA. – The New Orleans Saints will face their next challenge against the Miami Dolphins without their star running back, Alvin Kamara. Kamara, who suffered a knee injury, will not be available for Sunday’s match. Wide receiver Chris Olave is questionable for the game due to a back injury. Olave left Wednesday’s practice early and did not participate on Thursday, but did practice on Friday.

He was able to train today and, obviously, we’ll let this develop over the next 48 hours, but he trained today and was still a little limited, but he did well.

Kellen Moore, Saints coach
This is the first time Kamara has missed a game this season, after injuring his knee at the end of a game against the Atlanta Falcons last Sunday. Kamara did not practice during the week and his status is considered week-to-week, according to Moore. Rookie running back Devin Neal will take most of the snaps in Kamara’s absence on Sunday, despite being on the injury report with an ankle issue this week. Moore stated that Neal is “ready to play”.
