Saints Bolster Offense with Ja’Lynn Polk Acquisition
The New Orleans Saints have made a significant move to strengthen their receiving corps. According to sources, the Saints have agreed to a trade with the New England Patriots to acquire wide receiver Ja’Lynn Polk.
Polk, selected in the second round of the 2024 draft, is currently on the injured reserve list due to a shoulder injury. Last season, in 15 games, he had 12 receptions for 87 yards and two touchdowns.
In the agreement, the Saints will receive Polk and a seventh-round pick in 2028. For their part, the Patriots will obtain a sixth-round pick in 2027.
This move marks the second acquisition of a wide receiver by the Saints in the last month.
