Saints Activate Taysom Hill and Foster Moreau for Sunday’s Game
The New Orleans Saints have activated quarterback Taysom Hill and tight end Foster Moreau from the physically unable to perform list. This suggests that both athletes will be available for Sunday’s game against the New York Giants. Both Moreau and Hill could see action for the first time this season, after recovering from serious knee injuries suffered in the previous season. In total, both players scored 11 touchdowns last season. Hill suffered an injury against the Los Angeles Rams on December 1, 2024, while Moreau was injured in the last game of the season, on January 5, 2025. To make room on the roster, the team cut tight end Moliki Matavao and placed wide receiver Trey Palmer on injured reserve. Hill, who has been working with the quarterback group during the summer, commented that his return to competition this season was uncertain due to the severity of his injury. Recently, the team renegotiated his contract, linking a significant portion of his salary to game bonuses.I felt all the emotions during the last nine, ten months. So being here now and being able to be in practice with my teammates… it’s something emotional, something that fills you with gratitude.
