Aaron Rodgers, a renowned quarterback, expressed his desire to establish a deeper connection with Terry Bradshaw, a Steelers legend, after the latter criticized the team’s interest in Rodgers. In a radio interview in May, Bradshaw called the Steelers’ interest in Rodgers “a joke”.
Rodgers responded to Bradshaw’s comments during an interview with NFL Network on Saturday. The quarterback noted that he has known Bradshaw for a long time due to his work as a commentator for Fox, a network that broadcast many of Rodgers’ games during his 18 seasons with the Packers. What are you going to do? Bring him for a year? Are you kidding? That guy needs to stay in California. Go somewhere and chew bark and whisper to the gods out there.

Rodgers, now with the Steelers, expressed his interest in developing a relationship with Bradshaw.Terry is a legend. He’s an absolute legend. He won four Super Bowls. He’s had a legendary career in the media.

I would love to get to know Terry on a deeper level, and I feel like if he gave me the opportunity to get to know him, we would have a good friendship because for me I have nothing but the greatest respect and deference for what the greats have done because they laid the foundation for us to be able to play in this great game… Maybe we can go chew bark or whatever he’s talking about together.

Rodgers, 41, said last month on “The Pat McAfee Show” that he was “pretty sure” this would be his last season in the NFL. The four-time NFL MVP commented that this season with the Steelers was about “finishing with a lot of love, fun, and peace for the career I’ve had”. Rodgers also explained that he wanted to “have that closure and give back to the game once more the way it has given to me”.I’m a troll. He’s an All-Pro and he’s a GOAT. One day he’ll be a gold jacket type. Honestly, when he got here, we communicated, we talked, he’s a great person and a great football player, so what the media has put out is nonsense. I respect him a lot. I told him I respect him and apologized for the things I was saying about him. Honestly, he’s a great man and has a big heart, so I appreciate him and he’s a lot of fun.
