After a 26-7 defeat to the Buffalo Bills, quarterback Aaron Rodgers suggested two key solutions to improve the connection with his receivers. With only five weeks remaining in the regular season, Rodgers is looking for an urgent turnaround for the team.

His 10 completed passes were also the fewest in a game with 20 attempts. The quarterback, who turns 42 on Tuesday, also suffered a sack in the first play of the third quarter. Rodgers and his receivers struggled to connect on deep and mid-range passes throughout the game. In an attempt in the first quarter, Rodgers tried to connect with Roman Wilson, but the pass didn’t materialize. Later, in the fourth quarter, Rodgers tried to connect with Jonnu Smith in the end zone, but Smith ran outwards while Rodgers threw inwards, resulting in an incomplete pass.

The conservative passing attack frustrated the fans, who responded with boos. Rodgers understood the fans’ frustration, acknowledging that the performance was not praiseworthy. Calvin Austin III, Steelers receiver, echoed his quarterback’s sentiments after the offense recorded only 166 yards.
