Property worth $200,000 stolen from Shedeur Sanders’ house

The rookie Cleveland Browns quarterback, Shedeur Sanders, was the victim of a robbery at his home last Sunday, resulting in the loss of property valued at approximately $200,000, according to authorities.

The incident occurred while Sanders was making his NFL debut in the game against the Baltimore Ravens at Cleveland’s Huntington Bank Field.

According to a statement from the Medina County Sheriff’s Office, three suspects entered Sanders’ residence around 6:46 p.m. ET. Security cameras captured images of the individuals entering and exiting different areas of the house. The suspects, who were wearing masks and gloves, were seen leaving Sanders’ house at approximately 6:58 p.m. ET, taking the player’s belongings with them.

The Sheriff’s Office is conducting an investigation into the incident.

Sanders, selected at the 144th pick of the 2025 NFL draft, entered the game in the second half, replacing starter Dillon Gabriel, who was placed in concussion protocol.

In Sunday’s game, which ended in a 23-16 defeat, Sanders completed 4 of 16 passes for 47 yards and threw an interception. He was also sacked twice.

Browns coach Kevin Stefanski announced after the game that Sanders will be the starter in the next game against the Raiders in Las Vegas, in case Gabriel is unable to clear the protocol.
