Kenny Pickett Returns to Practice After Injury

Berea, Ohio – Cleveland Browns quarterback Kenny Pickett returned to practice on Friday after missing three consecutive sessions due to a hamstring injury. Coach Kevin Stefanski reported that Pickett would not participate in team drills on Friday, after suffering the hamstring injury at the end of the previous Saturday’s practice.

Obviously disappointed that he is not one hundred percent, but he is very involved in everything we are doing.

Stefanski did not want to commit on whether Pickett would be fully available for the Browns’ joint practices with the Carolina Panthers next Wednesday. Before injuring his hamstring, Pickett shared most of the first-team reps with Joe Flacco in the competition for the Browns’ quarterback position. Rookies Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders have primarily led the backup units. Sanders, the team’s fifth-round pick, is the only quarterback who hasn’t taken snaps with the first-team offense.
