Kicker Lucas Havrisik, who hasn’t had any activity since his perfect games in weeks 5 and 6, could get another chance on Sunday when the Green Bay Packers face the New York Giants. The Packers listed kicker Brandon McManus on the injury report on Saturday due to a recurring right quadriceps injury, and listed him as doubtful for Sunday’s game.Green Bay kept Havrisik on the roster even after McManus returned from his injury. Havrisik, who was signed on October 11, made all 10 of his field goal attempts. This included a franchise-record 61-yard field goal in Arizona, while replacing McManus, who originally injured his quadriceps on October 8.Havrisik hasn’t been active on game day since McManus returned after missing two games. Since his return, McManus has missed 4 of 8 field goal attempts, including a missed 64-yard attempt that would have sent Monday night’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles to overtime.
The Packers also announced that wide receiver Malik Heath would not travel with the team and would be out for Sunday’s game, calling it a “coach’s decision” without offering additional information.I almost feel no pain, I didn’t feel anything in my leg.
Brandon McManus
