The third week of the 2025 NFL preseason is already underway. Teams are taking advantage of this final opportunity to evaluate their players before the Tuesday 4 p.m. ET deadline, when they must reduce their rosters to 53 players.
Here’s a summary of the matches and team roster projections for each team.

Steelers 19, Panthers 10The Steelers may have suffered a significant loss on their defensive line. Derrick Harmon, the first draft pick, left the field with a knee injury and was quickly ruled out. Coach Mike Tomlin reported that the player was being evaluated. In addition, the Steelers have already lost Dean Lowry to a torn ACL during training camp. This could lead the Steelers to seek trade options or add players after the cuts.

Regarding the Panthers, the list of 33 inactive players is revealing. Brycen Tremayne did not play, while Hunter Renfrow and David Moore did. Tremayne could have an advantage for a receiver position, or Carolina could be keeping him secret for the practice squad. Renfrow and Moore could be competing for a roster spot, and one of them could be traded.
