Deep Dive into the 2026 NFL Draft: Predictions and Strategies

Since my last mock draft, the NFL landscape has changed drastically. The Combine, free agency, and several major trades have redefined team needs and strategies heading into the 2026 draft. Recently, the Broncos sent their first-round pick to the Dolphins in exchange for wide receiver Jaylen Waddle. Although there is still a long way to go, with the professional tryout days beginning, it’s a good time to analyze and predict the first two rounds of the draft, based on each team’s needs, my personal rankings, and the information coming from the league. This allows us to anticipate the plays of teams like the Broncos, Colts, Falcons, Jaguars, and Packers, who traded their first-round picks and will now pick in the second. Let’s start with the Raiders at number 1. For more details on these predictions, you can watch the new show “NFL Draft Daily” at 3 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
