Christmas Day Games: Cowboys, Lions, and Chiefs in the Spotlight
The NFL has revealed the exciting matchups that will take place on Christmas Day, promising a day full of action for American football fans. The Dallas Cowboys will face the Washington Commanders, while the Detroit Lions will visit the Minnesota Vikings.
The first matchup, between the Cowboys and Commanders, is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET, followed by the duel between the Lions and Vikings at 4:30 p.m. ET.
These games will be broadcast by Netflix, forming part of a triple Christmas Day slate that will culminate with the marquee matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Denver Broncos at 8:15 p.m. This last game, previously announced, will be broadcast on Prime Video.
Netflix and the NFL signed a three-year agreement in 2024 for the broadcast of games on Christmas.
Last season, Netflix’s doubleheader, which included the games between the Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans, and Chiefs against Pittsburgh Steelers, set a record as the most-watched NFL games in U.S. history, with 65 million viewers tuning in for at least one minute of the games.
The complete NFL schedule will be announced on Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET.
