Micah Parsons Expresses Concern Over Lack of Contract Agreement with the Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys’ star defensive player, Micah Parsons, has expressed his disappointment over the absence of a long-term contract agreement with the team. The defensive end, recognized for his exceptional performance, has expressed his desire for the organization to value his contribution in the same way that other franchises have secured their stars.Parsons has been a dominant force since his arrival in the NFL. In his first four seasons, he has accumulated 52.5 sacks, ranking among the best in the league since sacks became an official statistic in 1982. His consistency and ability to impact the game have solidified him as one of the league’s most valuable players. The player has made it clear that, despite the contractual situation, his commitment to the team remains intact while he is under contract. Parsons emphasized the importance of securing his family’s future, just as the team’s managers do.“When you see what other teams are doing to secure their best players, like T.J. Watt, Maxx Crosby, and Myles Garrett, you wish you had the same energy,” Parsons commented after a training session.

Cornerback Trevon Diggs also expressed his support for Parsons, highlighting his value as one of the best players in the NFL. Despite the meeting between Parsons and owner Jerry Jones in March, where contract terms were discussed, negotiations have still not progressed. Parsons has indicated that he expects his agent, David Mulugheta, to contact the organization. During recent practices, Parsons has limited his participation due to back discomfort. However, he has assured that he will increase his activity once he feels better.“If they don’t want me here, I will move on with my work. I understand the nature of the business. As long as I’m here and under contract, I will give my best,” Parsons stated.
