Drake London Doubtful for Game Against Jets

The Atlanta Falcons could be without their star receiver, Drake London, for the second consecutive week.

Head coach Raheem Morris indicated this Wednesday that London is “doubtful” for Sunday’s game against the New York Jets. London has been dealing with a posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) injury in his left knee and missed last Sunday’s victory against the New Orleans Saints.

London leads the Falcons in receptions (60), receiving yards (810), and receiving touchdowns (6).

Morris mentioned that London has shown improvement in his mobility and expects his prompt recovery.

Without London the previous weekend, the Falcons managed to beat the Saints 24-10, thanks to outstanding performances by receivers Darnell Mooney and David Sills V, both scoring touchdowns after passes from quarterback Kirk Cousins.

Cousins will be the team’s starter for the rest of the season. Michael Penix Jr. suffered a torn ACL in Week 11 against the Carolina Panthers and will miss the rest of the season.
