Lions vs Falcons Suspended: Morice Norris Suffers Serious Injury

The preseason game between the Detroit Lions and the Atlanta Falcons was suspended in the fourth quarter on Friday night, following the serious injury to Lions safety Morice Norris.

Norris suffered a blow to the head while trying to tackle Falcons runner Nathan Carter with 14:50 left in the fourth.

The player remained on the field for a long time, while the players of both teams joined in a show of support.

The clock kept running until, at 6:19 of the fourth period, the referee team announced the suspension of the match, citing a call from the league office in New York.
