CeeDee Lamb Stars in Incidents in the Cowboys’ Preseason Game
In an unexpected turn of events during the Dallas Cowboys’ preseason game against the Los Angeles Rams, star receiver CeeDee Lamb was involved in a peculiar incident, despite not participating in the game.
The receiver, who was watching the match from the sideline, received a hard hit from an official, resulting in a penalty for the Cowboys.
The incident occurred in the second quarter of the game at SoFi Stadium. Lamb, wearing street clothes, was near the field while watching a play. An official, running to follow the action, collided with Lamb, who was standing on the white line.
The impact resulted in a 15-yard penalty for the Cowboys for contact with an official.
Despite the hit, Lamb got up without apparent injuries, sharing laughs with his teammates. The unsportsmanlike conduct penalty stood, negating a 51-yard gain for the Cowboys due to pass interference by Los Angeles defensive back Shaun Jolly.
It’s important to note that, along with Lamb, other key Cowboys players like Dak Prescott and George Pickens were not playing in this preseason game.
