FRISCO, Texas – Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb revealed that both he and George Pickens broke curfew on Sunday, resulting in both players missing the first series of Monday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Lamb explained to the media that he and Pickens were at the Red Rock Casino having dinner and drinks. In addition, he denied the rumors on social media about him vomiting outside the casino. The Cowboys’ curfew was at 10 p.m. PT on Sunday, with the game starting on Monday at 5:15 p.m. PT.
After the Cowboys’ 33-16 victory, coach Brian Schottenheimer commented that “there were some things that were missed” and that the players were informed of disciplinary action before the game. He did not go into detail. Neither Pickens nor Lamb made statements about it after the game. Lamb finished with five receptions for 66 yards and a touchdown, while Pickens achieved nine receptions, matching his personal best, for 144 yards and a 37-yard touchdown reception from Dak Prescott. There were a few things that were missed

A Pickens wasn’t asked why they were substitutes when he spoke to the media on Thursday. When asked how he felt watching the start of the game from the bench, Pickens replied: “It definitely wasn’t pleasant. CeeDee and I definitely wanted to be there.” He added that his relationship with Schottenheimer, who embraced both receivers after Lamb’s touchdown, has strengthened throughout the year. Schottenheimer stated on Tuesday that he wants Pickens, who is scheduled to become a free agent after this season, to remain with the Cowboys. Last year, the Cowboys signed Lamb to a deal that averages $34 million per year. Pickens has 58 receptions for 908 yards and seven touchdowns. Lamb, who missed three games with a high ankle sprain, has 40 receptions for 557 yards and two touchdowns.I’m not going to elaborate on that. Honestly, I won’t. Sorry, I won’t.

Sign me. What do you say? I love the relationship of those two guys. I love the firepower they give us. That’s one of those games where you never know which one it will be. Some games are both, other games are one of them, and again, as I said, sometimes I pinch myself. … I’m very much in favor of George having a long-term future with us.
