Jaxon Smith-Njigba Sets New Record with the Seahawks
Seattle Seahawks star receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba is making an indelible mark on the current NFL season. In the 30-24 victory over the Tennessee Titans, Smith-Njigba shone with eight receptions for 167 yards and two touchdowns. This performance allowed him to surpass the single-season receiving yards record, previously held by DK Metcalf. Smith-Njigba’s achievement comes in his eleventh game of the season, an impressive milestone that highlights his consistency and skill.
With 1,313 receiving yards so far this season, Smith-Njigba is on track to break the NFL record of 1,964 yards set by Calvin Johnson in 2012. He has achieved 80 receptions from 108 attempts, despite the Seahawks opting to run the ball in a high percentage of their offensive plays.It’s incredible, the way he has played this year, in every game.
