Jaguars Suffer Significant Losses in Preseason

The Jacksonville Jaguars face a challenge in their preseason, with several significant absences for the game against the New Orleans Saints, which resulted in a 17-17 tie. Among the absent players is receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter, who is suffering from an upper body injury. Coach Liam Coen indicated that Hunter did not participate in Friday’s practice as a precautionary measure. In addition to Hunter, other key players were also ruled out for the match.

Additionally, Dennis Gardeck (linebacker, knee) was preserved as a precaution. Receiver Dyami Brown also did not participate in the game, although the team has not announced an injury for him. Travis Hunter has been practicing on both sides of the ball and participated in 364 plays in 7-on-7 and 11-on-11 in the previous 15 practices, including 17 on offense and 16 on defense in Thursday’s scrimmage.
