Jaguars Suffer Significant Injuries Against the Titans
Nashville, Tenn. – The Jacksonville Jaguars face a tough challenge after suffering significant injuries during their game against the Tennessee Titans.
The team has lost its starting left tackle, Walker Little, who was evaluated for a concussion at the end of the first half of the game.
In addition, starting receiver and punt returner Parker Washington suffered a hip injury after an incomplete pass thrown by Trevor Lawrence.
Given these injuries, Cole Van Lanen, who was playing right guard, replaced Little at the left tackle position. Meanwhile, rookie Wyatt Milum took Van Lanen’s place at right guard.
The Jaguars were already at a disadvantage, as they were without their starting right guard, Patrick Mekari, due to a concussion suffered the previous week.
In addition to these absences, there is also the absence of long snapper Ross Matiscik, who missed a large part of the first half due to a back injury. Defensive tackle DaVon Hamilton took over the snapping responsibilities on punts, field goals, and extra points.
